As part of a community initiative on its new website, the company is inviting its users to submit, via e-mail, their quick and quirky 20- to 30-second “micromuvees”, made using muvee autoProducer The three micromuvee categories are People, Places or Pets and entrants can choose from four different pieces of music that have been specially composed for the contest. Anyone interested in entering simply needs to visit the “that’s MY muvee” contest page at http://w3.muvee.com/website/contest_mm.php to download the music, or to get the muvee autoProducer software. The program already allows direct e-mailing of muvees, so contest entrants can instantly and conveniently submit their productions to entries@muvee.com with the click of a mouse button. There is no limit to the number of entries that each contestant may submit and the contest is open until March 31, 2003. Shortlisted entries will be showcased online on muvee Technologies’ website at w3.muvee.com, and the winning micromuvee will be awarded the top prize of a digital still camera.
