muvee Technologies to Preview muvee autoProducer 5 at the Portable Media Expo

Pioneering software for automatic video production introduces powerful new features for greater control while maintaining ease of use

Singapore and Ontario, CA -- November 11, 2005 - muvee Technologies, the pioneer and leader in Instant Personal Video, will offer Portable Media Expo attendees a sneak preview of the latest enhancements in muvee autoProducer 5. Slated to be released at the end of this month, muvee autoProducer 5 has new features for enhanced motion control over still pictures, and final tweaks for video, whilst retaining the software’s trademark easy-to-use interface.

magicSpot™ for pictures lets users specify the directional and pan/zoom motion that is applied to stills.  The default 'Automatic' function applies motion based on the style chosen by the user, while the 'Manual' function presents users with two overlapping frames that they can manipulate to specify start and end points of motion, as well as resize to control zoom in/out points.

Another new feature is ‘tweak muvee’, which enables users to either automatically or manually replace segments of video or individual pictures just prior to saving.  Users have the option of letting the software intelligently select similar or contrasting replacement segments using ‘Auto-replace’.  The ‘Manual Replace’ function lets users choose specific shots for substitution from the source material.

‘Find in source’ is a function that will also be demonstrated, which lets users locate specific shots in the source video while previewing a muvee.
