muvee Technologies Unveils Easy Home Movie-Making for the Media Center Platform

muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition brings hassle-free, automated movie-making into the living room

CeBIT Hannover, Germany –– March 18, 2004 – muvee Technologies, the pioneer in automaticvideo production, announces the Europe preview of its new muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition at CeBIT 2004. muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition is the first and only consumer video editing application that sits within Microsoft’s® Windows® XP Media Center platform, and allows users to quickly and easily create compelling video productions on a TV screen using only a remote control.

Developed using muvee’s patented technology, muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition retains all the core functions of the award-winning muvee autoProducer PC application, but these are now presented in a radically new Windows Media Center-styled interface. Designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, consumers can make all their multimedia and production selections in just a few simple steps using the Media Center’s remote control. They can browse for and select videos, pictures, music and an editing style to use in a muvee production. In minutes, muvee autoProducer analyzes the video footage to intelligently pick out key scenes, before automatically cutting these footage highlights to the length and rhythm of the chosen music, with effects and transitions synchronized to the beat. muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition currently supports WMV and MPEG-2 output formats.

muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition is scheduled to begin shipping in the US. Europe and Japan with major OEM products this Summer.
