Singapore and Korea -- September 21, 2006 - muvee, the pioneer and leader in automatic video, has teamed with LG Electronics to develop muvee Studio, an embedded camera phone application that lets users automatically turn pictures into emotionally engaging photo shows that are synchronized to music. muvee Studio will debut in Korea later this month on LGs latest CDMA phones SB610, KB6100 and LB6100 for SKT, KTF and LGT.

Camera phones are maturing and now have features that rival many consumer digital cameras. These phones are also very personal devices that typically pack a powerful processor and operating system. By embedding our patented Artistic Intelligence automatic video production engine, LG is signifying to the world that their phones are ready for the video-centric users of today. Plain slideshows with background music just dont cut it anymore because todays savvy consumer demands a video experience that is not only rich but also emotionally engaging. By using muvees technology, LG harnesses over 5 years of dedicated research and a handpicked team of engineers who are technically advanced and artists in their own right, said Terence Swee, muvees founder and himself, a published engineer and accomplished jazz pianist.

The SB610, KB6100 and LG6100 models are the first LG camera phones to incorporate muvees automatic video production technology. The muvee Studio application is LGs answer to Whats the next big thing on camera phones? This offering aims to enhance LGs customers experiences with their phones, and lets them show and share their photos in a more compelling way.

muvee Studio can be accessed on the phone via Menu > Camera > muvee Studio. Upon launching the program, users only need to select the pictures they want to use and choose a style before making their production, which is called a muvee. Styles determine the look and feel of the final production, and each style includes its own music, effects and transitions. muvee Studio includes five styles Classic Sepia, Forever Yours, Moody, Over-The-Top Music Video and Pro: Very Fast.

Users can also control the sequencing of their pictures in the final muvee by choosing either the Shuffle or Ordered option. muvees can be previewed immediately, and instantly remade using different pictures and/or styles. muvees are saved in K3G video format, and can be sent via multimedia message to other phones.

The new multimedia phone models, which will be sold through all telecommunication companies in Korea, feature an Ultra Slimcard form factor and support Mobile TV (T-DMB).
