muvee Technologies launches muvee autoProducer - the world's only smart automatic video editing software
Singapore –– October 29, 2001 – muvee Technologies has announced the launch of the world’s only smart automatic video editing software for the consumer PC market. muvee autoProducer is targeted at the ‘casual video production’ market – the 95% of video camcorder users who shoot video but do not have the patience or inclination to edit using existing traditional editing tools.
muvee autoProducer takes an entirely new approach to video editing. The software combines innovative patent-pending audio and video analysis with a simple 5-button interface. Users simply choose the video files that they want to include, pick a choice of music, select a production ‘style’ and click “make muvee”.
muvee autoProducer analyzes the video for shot boundaries, poor quality material, object motion, face detection and camera motion. The music selection is analyzed for beat, tempo rhythm and “drive”. This analysis is used to make smart automatic edit decisions about the most appropriate selection of material, cutting points, video transitions and special effects for each muvee production. The analysis of material is carried out faster than real time. After the first production, subsequent productions can be made in just a few seconds, providing instant gratification to the user, and inviting experimentation.

muvee autoProducer Plus is the flagship product from muvee Technologies. It allows the user to personalize productions with his or her own choice of titles and credits. The user can select up to 75 video and music files and choose from 24 styles. muvee autoProducer is an online upgrade priced at US$59.95.
