Resolution/Workaround:

muvee autoProducer might fail to initialize your camcorder if a tape isnt loaded in the camcorder. Try loading in a tape, reconnect the camcorder (via USB or FireWire) and turn it on before launching the video capture function in muvee autoProducer.

muvee autoProducer does not support analog video capture. If you have analog video footage, use other video capture software to convert it into digital format on your PC. You can then import these digital video files into muvee autoProducer.
