OpenGL Error : GLError 0x00000500 = 'invalid enumerant',SysErr = 0x00000000

Cause:


If you encounter the OpenGL error above, it means that:


(1) Display driver version is not up-to-date


How to check my graphic card name and version?


(a) Click Start -> Click Run -> type 'dxdiag' -> then click 'Save all Information' and save it to your Desktop as DxDiag.txt


(b) From Dxdiag.txt, look under 'Display Devices' to locate your Graphic Card Name and version


(2) The color depth is not set to 32bits


How to check my color quality settings?


Right click Desktop -> select 'Properties' -> select 'Settings' -> 'Color quality'




Resolution/Workaround:


(1) Please update your display driver directly from your card manufacturers site.


Intel Driver update


NVIDIA Driver update


ATI Driver update


(2) Please set your color quality to 32bits.


How to: Right click Desktop -> select 'Properties' -> select 'Settings' -> 'Color quality' -> 32 bit -> click 'OK'
