1. Produce the situation that you want to take a screenshot of.

2. Press Print Screen (On the keyboard. Usually toward the top right-hand corner of the keyboard. It may read PrtSc or PrtScr. It is next to Scroll Lock)

3. If your computer is normally slow, wait for up to 5 seconds.

4. Windows XP: Start Paint: Click Start, Run, type MSPAINT and press Enter.
Windows Vista: Start Paint: Click Start, type MSPAINT and press Enter.

5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot.

6. Save the picture as JPEG.

7. Close the picture.
