muvee product works with most OHCI 1.0-compliant FireWire/IEEE 1394 interfaces. Microsoft's Windows Hardware Compatibility Site provides a current list of compatible cards in the drop-down menu under "1394 Controller".

Please note that muvee product may not work with some high-end capture cards, such as those from Canopus. These cards often integrate hardware rendering support, and capture video in formats using codecs that are not supported under Microsoft's DirectShow API.
