Movie making is is great, but sharing is always better. It is exhilarating to see what others think about your creation and to watch your art take on a life of its own. Plus, if you’ve created the video for marketing purposes, watching new customers stream in is its own reward. To help you better share your muvee creations we’ve created a helpful guide to sharing your muvee online.
How Do You Want to Share?
One of the first things you’ll do when preparing to share your muvee is choose your method. Do you want to post to social media, create a DVD or do something else? We make it easy for you to share your creations across a wide variety of formats enabling you to reach your desired audience time and time again. Let’s take a look at some of your options:
- Share to Facebook– Social media can be a great place to get exposure for your video and when it comes to social media Facebook is a top contender. Companies can post videos to their Facebook pages to share advertising messages with their fans. Individuals might like this option for sharing cute videos of baby pictures, weddings or summer vacations. Whatever type of video you’ve created Facebook is a great way to get the word out.
- Post to YouTube– YouTube is the internet’s go to source for video and can be a great resource for sharing your muvee. Use this option if you have a dedicated YouTube channel and a following already established on the site. You can also post videos to YouTube to share on your personal or business website. Simply post to YouTube and embed the video link to your site or blog once its live. If you want to use YouTube but don’t want to share with the world, create a private video and share the link with family and friends.
- Create a DVD– One of the great features of video is its ability to span the distance. Creating a DVD will allow you to take your muvee on the road. You could create a DVD of your family reunion to send to aunts and uncles that weren’t able to attend or you could create marketing DVDs to send to prospective clients. This option is great if you want to share your video, but won’t have internet access available.
- Other Options– In addition to the great sharing options listed above you can also share your video using muvee Cloud, save directly to a computer or format videos for mobile devices like tablets, iPads and phones.
Saving and Sharing
Once you know how you want to share, the rest is easy. In muvee RevealX create your muvee and then choose the “Save and share your muvee” option in the file menu. Choose the option that you want to use (Facebook, YouTube, DVD, etc.) and click on the corresponding icon.
If you are posting to YouTube, Facebook or muvee Cloud you will be asked to log in to your account. Then choose the settings you want for your video and click “Save”. If you are creating a DVD or saving to a computer the process is similar, but you won’t need to log in.
