This is our last instalment of muvee School: SLAM! Today, we’re going to be focusing on movement and give you tips on how to maintain a steady shot.
Here are some ways you can incorporate movement while filming a stagnant object:
- Pan: take your camera and move it from left to right or right to left
- Tilt: move your camera down towards your subject
To ensure that you shots are steady, use a tripod. If you don’t have a tripod, you can also hold your camera in one position and walk across or around it, so there is less movement.
And there you have it, the final episode of muvee School SLAM. We hope to bring in more tutorials next year so keep a look out for the next edition of muvee School!
